Sinopse

It is June 2014 and Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are in Toronto, Canada with temporary appointments to teach at the University of Toronto. One a fateful day a visitor arrives at the door of Holmess office at 221 W. Bloor Street. It is a massive man disguised with the mask of a former Governor of Alaska. He is in desperate need of help from Sherlock Holmes else some terribly incriminating photos taken long ago could emerge in the media and ruin his already explosive career in politics and even bring about World War III.Holmes must find a way to rescue his client and save the city, the nation and the world. This is a parody. Have fun reading it.This story is NOT like all the other Sherlock Holmes pastiche books by Craig Stephen Copland. The series - New Sherlock Holmes Mysteries - are all written as if they were traditional stories by Arthur Conan Doyle. Each one is inspired by one of the stories in the original Canon. They are set in late Victorian England and use similar characters and elements of the plot as are found in the original story, but then take off into a completely new mystery. Eventually there will be a new mystery that corresponds with each of the original sixty stories. A new one will be released every month (usually).Readers who are fans of the original Sherlock Holmes stories will enjoy meeting up again with the Sherlock and Watson they know and love.
