The ding of an elevator interrupts the eerie calmness of a deserted city street. Doors materialize and slide open to permit three people to exit onto the street before the doors close behind them and disappear. The trio wonders where the people are that should be here when a lone woman appears before them. Her face is stoic and her body unmoving. One by one, others phase in all around them with a singular message: Get out. With no choice but to leave the city or become lost like these people, the travelers search this world to determine the source of the problem and restore it to its former glory before those who wish to keep the people trapped can capture and sacrifice them to the City of Phase.
