Janelle's dreams of becoming a doctor and saving people shatter, for she and Gary are Tempests, literally able to become a force of nature--and soon it will be her time to kill. Can she escape her terrifying destiny?
"The plot was fast paced and constantly moving along. I was so intrigued by the Tempests that I had a hard time putting the book down. I am looking forward to the next book in the Destroyers series."--Reading Vacation
"From the initial scene with the hurricane bearing down on Janelle and her dad, this story pulls you right along through to the surprising conclusion. Creative and entertaining, this book is good fun from start to finish."--GraceKrispy, MotherLode Blog
"In all, Tempest is a wonderfully brisk read full of angst and self-discovery. Most of the characters ring true and are decently realized. The innovations are fresh and invigorating. I would most certainly recommend this book to anyone, or to anyone's teenagers."--Journal of Always Reviews
Tempest is the first book of the Destroyers Series. The other four novels of this series are also available.
