Sinopse

Robert Barr was born in Scotland but when he was four his family moved to Canada. There he got brilliant education, and as he became interested in this field he decided to become a teacher. Barr's works are often based on his own experience and reveal his personality: straightforward and even cruel at first sight but very kind when you take a serious look. There was a thick fog on the sea, and there were two ships going to leave the bay. It was up to the captains to decide. Would they risk to sail across the sea in such weather and put in danger the lifes of their passsengers? One of them decided to stay in the bay, the other one – to sail. Although nothing bad happened he became criticised by the reporters who blamed him for worthless and dangerous risk. The captain himself made no comments, but his purser what really happened...
