Sinopse

In the year 2013, a pharmaceutical company known as Raven greatly took flight in the medical industry. Finding numerous new, advanced ways to treat and even cure terminal illnesses such as cancer and AIDS. But what was unknown to the people of Verlix City, is that Raven was creating and testing a drug called Betanol on anyone who volunteered. This drug had very abnormal affects on the test subjects, and because of that, the Betanol experiment was officially shut down, and any tests subjects were to be terminated on sight. Though the Betanol experiments were shutdown, Raven still conducted back door experiments on the homeless and desperate, in attempts of creating the perfect strain. But they’ve failed on many occasions, leaving the subjects to either mutate, or eventually die; coming back to life as mindless beings. In the year 2015, the strain was stolen and released in Verlix City as a bio weapon, infecting hundreds of civilians and leading to an apocalypse. The government sealed off the city from the rest of the world and looked to a five man black ops team called Phoenix to cleanse the city of the infection. But when they were forced to follow  “orders that they did not agree with, only Commander Lucas Richards and Gunnery Chief Sasha Cho returned alive. Due to their failure to complete their mission, they were forced to resign and become just a couple of civilians trying to survive the post apocalyptic world. Sasha cut ties and disappeared; no one has heard from her since her resignation. Lucas leads a group of castaways in Verlix City whose only mission is to survive and rescue those who aren’t infected and looking for shelter. This group consists of talented people with special powers called legends that are caused due to positive reaction to infection.
