The book contains chapters with respect to research on learning potential assessment and cognitive training. Moreover, several contributions discuss the relationship between individual learning and social interaction during learning potential assessment. The book has five themes that cover research on learning potential assessment and cognitive training. These themes are - theoretical base of LPA, reciprocity in LPA, LPA and cognitive training, cross cultural perspectives, LPA related research and cognitive education. The contributions are introduced in relation to the framework as suggested by Grigorenko and Sternberg (1998) - comparative informativeness, power of prediction, robustness of results, and degree of efficiency.
