This book presents an up-to-date account of the developments on all important aspects of power system dynamics and control. It begins by introducing the basic concepts of stability and reviewing classical techniques of analysis. It goes on to develop the system model in detail. It presents small signal stability analysis as applied to the problem of low frequency oscillations and discusses the subsynchronous resource (SSR) phenomenon and methods of analysis.
