As advanced or expanded endoscopic surgery of the paranasal sinuses and the whole skull base has been developing in recent years, its use has been spreading. Worldwide, skull base units primarily composed of otolaryngologists/rhinologists and neurosurgeons are being set up to deal with benign and malignant tumors, among other diseases. These units are approaching tumors through the nose to reduce the morbidity secondary to more aggressive external approaches. Although there are books on FESS and endoscopic skull base surgery, there is no book that comprehensively and completely covers the surgical steps of all the different endoscopic approaches with which the paranasal sinuses and, through them, the complete skull base can be reached.
